HotZone™ Solutions

Contractors and end-users can use HotZone™ heaters, and standard or custom mounting accessories and controls to solve almost any heating problem. Schaefer has developed a number of "standard solutions" for some specific applications, which it sells as a complete solution. HotZone™ Electric Radiant Patio Heater

HotZone™ Electric Radiant Patio Heater

The HotZone™ Electric Radiant Patio Heater is intended for deck and patio use. The highly efficient 1500W, 120V heater with the patented IRLens™ raises the temperature of people or objects in a 14 square foot area, eight feet from the heater, by 15 degrees or more.

The Electric Radiant Patio Heater is a free-standing heater that comes with a safety tip switch and a cord that plugs into a normal wall outlet. Operating costs are 15 cents an hour when electric power costs 10 cents/KWh.

HotZone™ Electric Ceiling/Wall Mounted and Portable Radiant Heaters

HotZone™ Universal Fixed Mount Heater (Hard-wire)

The HotZone™ Electric Universal Fixed Mount Radiant Heater is intended for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor uses. The heater comes in 1500W and 3000W models. The highly efficient 1500W, 120V heater with the patented IRLens™ raises the temperature of people or objects in a 14 square foot area, eight feet from the heater, by 15 degrees or more. The Universal Fixed Mount Radiant Heater attaches to wall or ceiling junction boxes with its universal adaptor (included.) The heater direction can be adjusted up or down to stay focused on the area to be heated. Operating costs for the 1500 W heater are 15 cents/hour when electric power costs 10 cents/KWh.

HotZone™ Wall Mount Heater w/Cord

The HotZone™ Electric Wall Mount Radiant Heater is intended for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor uses. The highly efficient 1500W, 120V heater with the patented IRLens™ raises the temperature of people or objects in a 14 square foot area, eight feet from the heater, by 15 degrees or more. The Wall Mount Radiant Heater attaches to a wall with four screws and plugs into a normal wall socket. The heater direction can be adjusted up or down and left/center/right to stay focused on the area to be heated. Operating costs are 15 cents/hour when electric power costs 10 cents/KWh.

HotZone™ Portable Heater

The HotZone™ Portable Electric Radiant Heater is intended for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor spot heat uses. The highly efficient 1500W, 120V heater with the patented IRLens™ raises the temperature of people or objects in a 14 square foot area, eight feet from the heater, by 15 degrees or more. The Portable Electric Radiant Heater is a free-standing heater that comes with a safety tip switch and a cord that plugs into a normal wall outlet. Operating costs are 15 cents/hour when electric power costs 10 cents/KWh.

**HotZone™ HeatBank™**
	HotZone™ HeatBank™ The HotZone™ HeatBank™ is 15,000 watts of radiant power in a neat foldaway package for ice and snow melting, equipment heating and people heating in the toughest of conditions. Don't stand too close. This heater raises the temperature 30° F 20 feet from the heater!

In-ceiling HotZone™

Schaefer has 3 ways to mount your 1500W and 3000W electric spot heaters in your ceilings (when you have enough air space to handle the heating.) The 3 ways are described below. For more information: In-Ceiling Mount Spec Sheet

Recessed Mount

The recessed reflector with bezel allows mounting the 1500W HotZone™ at the ideal angle of 22° out of your line of sight. The reflector must be left unpainted. The bezel comes standard white or black or can be powder coated any of 200 colors.

Drop Mount

The drop bezel ceiling mount allows mounting the 1500W or 3000W HotZone™ at the ideal angle of 22° when you want to see the heater or don't have enough air space to recess the heater. The bezel comes standard white or black or can be powder coated any of 200 colors.

Flush Mount

The flush mount bezel allows mounting the 1500W or 3000W HotZone™ in the ceiling, pointing straight down. This is a sophisticated look that works well when there is a very specific area you want to heat. The bezel comes standard white or black or can be powder coated any of 200 colors.
