Seattle, WA 1/1/08 Radiant Optics today introduced an industry-leading Thermometric Design Service for infrared heating solution design. While most infrared heating companies provide rules of thumb for heater selection and placement decisions, Radiant Optics now has the capability to position and direct heaters in a model of your space to be heated to determine the likely delta-T (temperature increase) that will result from the addition of HotZone(TM) infrared spot heaters. Seattle, WA 12/1/07 Radiant Optics has launched an new line of high intensity infrared heaters targeting commercial and residential markets. The HZE series of HotZone(TM) heaters has an aesthetically pleasing curved back along with the traditional IRLens(TM) on the front. The heaters come standard aluminum, black or white and can be powder coated any of 200 custom colors. The heaters are available in 120V through 480V versions and come with a universal mount for wall and ceiling mounting.
Seattle, WA 9/6/07 Seattle's beautiful, new, environmentally conscious central library now has electric HotZONE™ heaters with individual on/off and dimming controls installed over the check-in/check-out stations near the 4th Avenue entrance. The heaters complement the library's design and are a great solution for a tough thermal comfort problem.
Woodinville, WA 8/15/07 Steve Nelson joined Radiant Optics today as its National Account Sales Director Steve joins Radiant Optics from Nelson Business Services, his own property development company, serving the Wisconsin cottage-country market. Prior to Steve's successful entrepreneurial stint, he held a series of sales leadership positions with large and small companies, where he always excelled. He sold computer products to major accounts for Hitachi America for 10 years, both as a reseller and as a Hitachi employee. He sold for Bull HN/ZDS and Mid America Wholesalers before that. Woodinville, WA 8/1/07 Radiant Optics announces the introduction of the 15kW HeatBank™ electric heater. Initially designed for ice and snow melting on radar dome roofs, the HeatBank™ heater has a broad range of thermal comfort, equipment heating and ice and snow melting applications. The HeatBank™ uses 208V single-phase power, is equipped with 5-power IRLenses™, can be mounted to radiate horizontally or vertically and folds up into a neat and compact package for storage during the warm months.
