Spectators were freezing watching hockey in an uninsulated and unheated arena; tube heaters were using too much fuel and heating the ice.

Solution
Install electric powered HotZONE™ heaters grouped in zones above the bleachers; turn them on by zone from a central control location when the temperature is below 45° and there are spectators in the stands.
